The DREAM Center is building a statewide, integrated educational infrastructure and network that incorporates innovative educational technologies to make virtual education in advanced manufacturing more accessible in rural areas of NM and worldwide

Goal 1: Inspire

Create a teacher training program in local schools to infuse awareness for cybersecurity and advanced manufacturing. The team will train a cohort of teachers in local schools in their cities and will help deploy the course in the schools.

Goal 2: Train

Build a micro credentials-based course module set to train students and practitioners in cybersecurity for advanced manufacturing. The modules will include concepts, such as basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, basic cybersecurity hygiene in setting up and operating a DIAM facility, securing the pipe from the cloud to the edge, and machine learning security at the edge.

Goal 3: Career-build

Help incubate the cybersecurity program at NTU, a nascent program aimed to increase cybersecurity awareness in the Navajo reservation. NMSU with a BS in Cybersecurity program (PI is the Program Director) will lead this effort.
